Schools are experiencing an unprecedented amount of change and facing serious financial constraints. It seems to us that it has never been more important to work together to share resources and provide support for each other.
Stephen Sutton Multi-Academy Trust is actively looking for schools with similar values, who are serious about being the best they can be for the benefit of the young people in the area, the staff who support them and the wider community.
Stephen left us an amazing legacy and we are adopting a partnership approach to school improvement, based on strong relationships and trust, through which schools can learn from each other, support each other and be part of something special.
This is a cross-phase multi-academy trust, so expressions of interest are invited from both primary schools and secondary schools. As a small local MAT, schools joining the Trust will be within around a 30 minute drive of Burntwood, where the Trust HQ is based.
Where discussions lead to serious consideration being given to joining the Trust, the Executive Director and Trust Business Manager will provide support with the application to the DfE and the transfer process. Community schools converting to academy status receive a £25,000 conversion grant.
If you are the Headteacher or Chair of Governors of a local school or academy, why not talk to us to explore how what we stand for, and what we do, matches up to your school’s ethos and plans for the future?
