The Stephen Sutton Multi-Academy Trust is the home of Chase Terrace Technology College and aims to grow into a partnership of like-minded schools in the Staffordshire/Walsall area. We work to help young people to grow in confidence and blossom into effective learners, who take their opportunities.

We are committed to achieving the highest possible standards, through a flexible, inclusive approach that learns from the best educational practice. As a strongly community-focused Trust, we work with local industry and other agencies to create improved life and employment prospects.

Stephen Sutton

The Trust takes its inspiration (and its name) from Stephen Sutton, who grew up in Burntwood and attended Chase Terrace Technology College, a partner school. Stephen was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15. By the time he died, in 2014 at the age of 19, he had raised over £3 million for the Teenage Cancer Trust through his fundraising activities. Stephen inspired people all over the world through his words and actions. Through his incredible positivity, creativity, courage and ambition, Stephen’s memory provides us all with the best possible role model.
